Speak Text
MacOS has a feature that if you highlight text, and right click there is a menu item named Speech > Start Speaking. This can be cumbersome over time.
If you go to System Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content and click the information icon ⓘ. it allows you to modify the keyboard shortcut for initiating the Speak Selection. The default is Option+Esc, but for me, I changed mine to Option+S as it is easier to reach.
